I feel ready-ish for my chemistry test tomorrow. A little apprehensive, but a little bit of fear is okay.  I just got two reading bookings :) I have to do them all on the weekend as my math midterm is on thursday (Yikes) and I have to be a good girl and study.

I wrote out a whole bunch of stuff about my trip to Van city, but I am too lazy to write more, so here are the key points!


- I met Michelle again. I gave her friend Kristin a reading at her office.

- Nelson, Michelle's Husband picked us up (after Kristin's car was towed which by the way, I PREDICTED in my readings just a few minutes prior! YAY.) and we drove to Mikes Studio.

- Nelson (who is an actor) invited me at the end of July to be behind the scenes of some shows and movies that he is working on. Oooh! Too bad I can't make it =[

- Once we got to Mike's Studio, I hung out with him and looked at all his amazing paintings, including a 10ft by 6ft lion. It was so amazing. He showed me all his paints. He has a lot of paints. Meanwhile, Michelle and Nelson went to the liquor store.

- Once they got back, we all drove to Michelle's parents house and I met her family, her mom (who I already give readings for), her dad, her dog, and her brother Chris.

- All of Chris's friends arrived so it was fullllll of people.

- I started to get really drunk and then I had to stop myself, realizing it was very unprofessional of me to go to a 'client's' (well she's a friend NOW) party and get wasted. Seriously, at times, when Kristin asked if I wanted to go get some food upstairs, I was a little bit worried about climbing the stairs because I was already a little bit dizzy. She was like on her third HUGE glass of wine and just FINE. HOW can she do that?!!

- Mike told me he would like to design my logo for my website and business cards :) He also said he wants to help design the posters for my upcoming workshops. YAY.

- Kristin told me I can use her huge office complex building to host a huge workshop. We all got to talking and all three of them said that they could easily get about 20+ people coming to a workshop here and want me to do a workshop in vancouver at the end of August. I'm still thinking about it, but it is most likeyl a yes! 

- Willie told me I can use her office space any time I am in the city to do readings :) I love Willie.

- Michelle is going to help me set up a workshop in LA in june 2010. That is my new goal. You know, at the start of the year, my resolution was to do my first workshop. At the time it seemed so far away, so impossible, I didn't have any resources, and I didn't even feel ready. Now I'm there, and it makes me beleive that anything is possible!

- We all went to the beach for the sunset. Ok, I take it back, it was not a "crappy little sea". It was a real ocean! Like with the smell and the real sand and the hotness and prettiness and everything. We spent some time there, with wine, a camera, and the most gorgeous sunset and cityline in the background. It was so nice :)

- Had a photoshoot with Michelle.

- They drove me home.

They will be back in town soon so I can't wait to see them :) Or go there. I probably won't get a chance to before my workshop, if I do do it, in August.
